Experimental Investigation of Brick-Slabs: Evaluation of the Performance and Ductility of Various Brick Materials

In this study, five one-way brick slab specimens were manufactured to investigate the behavior of slabs composed various types bricks (solid bricks, perforated and cellular concrete blocks (thermostone). The span ranges from 600 800 mm, while camber 0 30 mm. Previously, blocks, solid clay employed as building materials. These samples tested by being subjected flexural three-point loading. results revealed that increasing mm for increased ductility, ultimate strength, 5.5% 77.62, respectively.
